What Working With Us Is Like
Hiring a roofer is something most people do only a handful of times. We want each visit to feel like a neighbor helping out, not someone trying to make a sale.
- An honest call on repair or replacement
- When a couple of cracked tiles and a worn pipe boot are all that's wrong, we tell you and price the repair. A new roof only comes up when the underlayment or decking has really failed, and we show you the proof.
- Pictures and an itemized written estimate
- Once we're down from the roof, you see photos of what we found and an estimate that breaks out each piece of the work. Compare it, ask about any item and decide when you're ready.
- Care for your yard and driveway
- Plants and patio furniture get covered, debris stays off the driveway, and a magnet sweep for nails happens before we go each day. You can keep living normally while we work overhead.
- Support with your insurance claim
- We work directly with your insurance adjuster: we document the damage, can join the adjuster on the roof if you want, and put their findings into plain words. Coverage is still the adjuster's decision, and we'll tell you honestly what we expect is and isn't covered.
- English or Spanish, your choice
- Se habla español. Go over your roof, your estimate and your choices in the language that's easiest for your family.
Roofing Services for Your Home
We're a licensed roofing contractor, CSLB 1092407 (C-39), and we carry insurance, so the work on your house is properly covered. You see the care in the details: the way flashing laps around a vent, the way tile sits at the ridge, the way a valley is lined to move water rather than hold it. Our work covers roof repair, roof leak repair and full roof replacement, plus tile roofing, asphalt shingle roofing, flat roofing and gutters. We also do storm damage repair and smaller commercial roofs, and each job begins with a free inspection.

What Shapes Your Roof Estimate
Two homes built on the same street in the same year can need very different roofing. The price comes from the material, the shape of the layers underneath and the labor needed to finish the job right. Here is what we look at before we write down a number.
The estimate is written and free, based on what we see at the inspection.
- Roof size and slope
- A bigger roof takes more material and more labor. Steep slopes call for added safety setup and go slower than gentle ones.
- Which material
- Clay and concrete tile, asphalt shingle and flat roof membranes each have their own material price and install time. On a lot of tile roofs we can lift and reuse the tiles while new underlayment goes on, which changes the numbers.
- What lies beneath
- Underlayment gives out well before tile does, and sun-baked felt shows up on many older roofs. Soft or stained decking must be replaced, and it often stays hidden until the old layer is off. If we find any, you see photos before we do extra work.
- Old layers to remove
- Some shingle roofs have a second layer on top of the first. Pulling off and hauling away two layers adds labor and dump fees.
- Roof features and access
- Chimneys, skylights, solar panels, vents and narrow side yards all add time. Every opening in the roof needs its own careful flashing.
- City permits
- A city permit and inspection are required for most replacements. We pull the permit and put it in the estimate so it doesn't catch you off guard.

A Roofing Company That Works Like a Neighbor
Roofing Hawaiian Gardens is a local company doing roof work for the families around us. We work from a simple idea: do the job the way you'd want it done on your own parents' house. That means honest answers, a clean yard and no talk you can't follow.
We know a roof here takes years of strong sun, then a few heavy winter rains that find every weak spot at once. So we look past the surface to the underlayment and flashing, where most leaks actually start. And because many of our neighbors are more comfortable in Spanish, we offer every step of the job in English or Spanish.

How a Job Runs, From Call to Cleanup
You'll know what's happening at each stage, and who to ask when you have a question.
- 1
Your call, and a quick talk
Let us know what you've noticed, like a ceiling stain, a tile out of place or a drooping gutter. We pick a time to come out that suits you.
- 2
A free look at your roof
We climb up and check the surface, flashing, vents, valleys and gutters, plus the attic when possible. Back on the ground, we go through the photos with you.
- 3
Your estimate in writing
You receive an itemized estimate showing the work we suggest and any options. There's no pressure and no deadline to decide.
- 4
Doing the work
We protect the yard, pull any needed permit and keep things neat as we work. If the old roof hides a surprise, we pause and show you before changing the plan.
- 5
Walking the finished job
At the end we sweep for nails, haul off the debris and walk the work with you. You'll know what we did and what to watch for later.

Roof Questions We Hear Most
- Is a repair enough, or do I need a new roof?
- It comes down to what has failed and how far it has spread. A handful of broken tiles, a worn pipe boot or one lifted shingle edge are normally repairs. When the felt underneath is brittle almost everywhere, or rotted plywood turns up in more than one spot, a new roof usually costs less over the years. Either way, we show you photos and explain why.
- What will my roof cost?
- We can't quote an honest figure without seeing the roof, since size, material, layers, decking and permits all move the price. The inspection and the written estimate cost you nothing, and each part of the job is listed so you can see what you're paying for.
- Will you help me with an insurance claim?
- Yes, we work directly with your insurance adjuster. We photograph the damage, can meet the adjuster at your home and explain the paperwork in simple terms. Your insurer decides what is covered, and we'll be honest if we think the damage might not qualify.
- Is financing available?
- Yes. Financing is available through Service Finance Company, subject to credit approval. We can go over it by phone or when we review your estimate.
- Does a new roof come with a warranty?
- Qualifying roofs can get a GAF System Plus manufacturer limited warranty. Before you sign anything, we'll tell you whether your job qualifies and what it covers.
- Why is my tile roof leaking when it looks fine?
- The tile lasts for ages, but the underlayment below it is what really keeps water out, and heat and time wear it down. Cracked or shifted tiles let water reach it sooner. In many cases we can lift the tile, put in new underlayment and set the same tiles back.
- How much will a roof replacement disrupt my household?
- Expect noise during work hours, but you can stay in the house the whole time. We cover plants, keep the driveway open when possible, and clean up and sweep for nails each evening. Your estimate includes a realistic timeline so you can plan.
- ¿Hablan español?
- Sí. Service is offered in English and Spanish, from your first call to the final walk-through. Just tell us which you'd like when you call.
